I blog in part because I figure that the day will my come when my kids will consider it a treasure to see the running commentary on their childhood. Maybe they will read this and it will fill in some of the blanks for them.
A few minutes ago I gave each of the kids a peanut butter cookie. By the way, I make the world’s all time best peanut butter cookies. So, I gave them each a cookie and Ian says, “no milk?” and Mackenzie says, “Thank you for the cookie, Mom”.
One day she will read this blog and I want her to know why I took her cookie away and went back in the kitchen to get her the really big cookie.
When my kids are grown and decide to read my blog it will probably reinforce their preconceived notion that I was a smothering mom making them crazy by hovering in their business all the time. Ha! But at least they will see that their old lady used to have some sexy legs!!
That post made me laugh out loud. You should publish your pb cookie recipe. My husband loves him some pb cookies.
