I think I am hoping that announcing my plans to the whole www will make me more inclined to actually water these plants so I have something more than dirt filled pots to show in a few weeks.
I’ll keep you posted. Maybe you can keep me accountable while I attempt to grow these state flowers of Kansas.

I can’t wait to see what happens! I just planted a couple hanging baskets last Saturday, and since I too kill every green thing I touch, I’m a little anxious to see what happens! Good luck with your sunny blooms!

Did you know that Kansas is known as the Sunflower state. And guess what… You guessed it, the sunflower is the state flower.

Also we had some of these growing in our yard this last fall. I think they grow during that time.

I have a pot of flowers on my front porch which I planted in January. There is still not a thing coming out.

It is very sad.
