I Got Interviewed, Y’all!

April 14, 2008

If my honest to goodness thoughts on word verification and blogging in general are burning thoughts in your brain, you need to get a hobby. But before you go researching new hobbies, pop in to BloggedIn-News and Networking. Sweet, brave Lauren interviewed me and has settled any lingering questions you might have.

BloggedIn-News and Networking is an excellent source for all things family friendly in blogging. It is a great place to see what’s happening in around the blogospere without the painful loss of eyesight so many blogs can cause.

    Perfect interview.
Makes me want to sing “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart. [where?!]…”
Tomorrow on the Heinecke blog it’ll be “no word verification day” to celebrate your stardom! :)

And if the Devil doesn’t like it he can sit on a tack…

That will be stuck in my head all day. What a great song to have stuck in your head! Thank you. I love sticking it to the Devil. And robots. :)

It almost made me cry, becasue that is in fact who you are.

  4. deleise says:

Well my friend, that was very cool.

How do you take off the word verification? Am I dumb? Email me, will ya? My mom would be so relieved if that was gone.

  5. Amy says:

Susan, thank you. You know me well and I am always happy to make you almost cry. Not actually cry, just the kind that makes you wrinkle your chin a bit.

Deleise, you are not dumb. Silly question.

Congratulations on a great interview. I don’t even know what word verification is. Since I never plan on having a blog, guess I’ll just skip looking it up. – Lori

Oh wait, I think I figured it out, all on my own. In addition to word verification, you know what I really hate? Blogs that only let you comment with a blogger id…why can’t I be anonymous? I mean if you are going to take out word verification, really, lighten up…(Thanks for not making me sign in)

  8. Amy says:

I am so with you, Lori. If I’m going to leave a comment, I want to type it out and hit send. Two steps. Any more complicated and it becomes a chore.
Clearly, it’s an issue with me.

  9. Chris says:

Congrats! I am very happy for you. It is the start of many wonderful writing opportunities I am sure.
