When Monkeys Blog

March 28, 2008

You may have noticed that I’m monkeying around with the blog lately. Maybe it’s my lazy man version of Spring cleaning. I have got to get on that.

Anyhow, I accidentally deleted my profile picture and when I went back to find it, it was gone – completely off the computer.

I figure for now, we can all settle for Kenzie Faye’s most recent snack time creation. She used spaghetti noodles to make grape Ka-bobs. How clever is she?

I love the new picture. Very creative, that girl. And I always enjoy reading your blog. I wish I could write as well as you do Amy.

  2. Amy says:

Thank you, Myra. I really do enjoy writing.
But beyond that, I enjoy blogging – popping in and out of people’s days and having a little chat where you ordinarily wouldn’t have. I have so enjoyed watching Morgandy grow. She is too cute.

You have no idea how much that picture of Kenzie made my face light up and allowed me to have a great rest of the day! Thank you!

  4. Amy says:

Aw, Susan. You know how to talk to Mamas. You just made my day, making your day.

No DNA test needed on Jerry Springer! You are the mother! It’s a crazy resemblance (you not the snack smiley face…although that kinda looks like you too.)

So there with you!!! Dinner? Someone needs to make dinner? I say order a pizza that’ll give me another 30 minutes to blog!

    I know.
Spring cleaning? What about just plain cleaning?

And yes, she is certainly my kid. No doubt. I’ll be on Springer someday, for sure. Just not for a DNA test.

I,too, enjoy the new picture! And I enjoy reading your writing Amy. I have missed seeing you at services; but understand you and Eric like where you are now worshiping. Your mom ALWAYS seems to keep Eric first in her reasoning…just like Nathan did!
ps. how are those nails?? long? I know that’s your goal. Kathy

  9. Amy says:

If you can believe it, Kathy, my nails are long! Thank you for asking.
