Courtney asked that we list some of the good things that we have going on around us. I would have replied on your blog, Courtney, but I’d hate to make a comment that should really be a post. And so, here is my list.
1. My son is a Mama’s boy. That won’t fly when he’s thirty, but I am loving it right now.
2. My husband works hard to make a home for us and to make certain that I am always able to stay home with our kids.
3. Eric let me sleep in this morning.
4. I got to hang out with Kevin and Tonya today and that’s a really good thing since they are soon to leave for Kansas.
5. Mackenzie is potty trained.
6. I have the kind of Dad I can talk to about anything and he listens and offers advice, or sometimes just his ear.
7. I have the kind of husband a girl can have a forever crush on.
8. I have reconnected with old friends and family through this nerdy wormhole called blogger, and that’s a good thing.
9. I really enjoy acting and God keeps opening new doors for me to keep it up.
10. My dishwasher is finally connected!
There. That’s my list. Now, away to your own blog to scribble out your own list. Good call, Courtney!
It’s a Good Thing

Tell me more about the acting doors opening up for you.
Tonight I am attending my first meeting as the committee head for the drama part of the Full Circle ministry. In Sept. Mom and I are going to WI to do a ladies retreat and I will be acting. I guess I should have said “drama ministry” doors are opening. “Acting” could mean I am doing detergent commercials.
Amy,
How many people are in the Drama committee, and how often do you meet?
Right now, I only have two women interested, but I hope to snag some more ladies. I haven’t a clue what I am doing from there. I hope to get a better idea of what they expect tonight.
Could you use some child actresses and actors? My kids all want to be stars, and I want the money.
Simmer down Joe Jackson, simmer down.
